Non-reinforced silicone hoses are made from silicone rubber, which is known for its flexibility, heat resistance, and durability. However, without reinforcement, they are more prone to collapsing under vacuum or high pressure conditions compared to reinforced hoses.
Non-reinforced silicone hoses are commonly used in engine dress-up projects, custom car builds, and show cars where appearance is a primary consideration.
When selecting non-reinforced silicone hoses for the engine bay, consider the specific requirements of your application, including temperature range, pressure conditions, and the overall aesthetic you want to achieve. While they may not offer the same durability and pressure handling capabilities as reinforced hoses, they can still provide a stylish and functional addition to your vehicle’s engine compartment.
